Rojao Inc Privacy Policy

Effective July 17, 2026

Rojao Inc ("Rojao", "we", "us") is a small, independent app studio. We have been making mobile apps since 2009, and our approach to your data is simple: we collect as little as possible, and what your apps create stays with you.

Which apps this policy covers

This policy applies to every mobile app we publish on the Apple App Store and Google Play under the developer names "Rojao" and "Rojao Inc", including:

It also covers any app we publish in the future unless that app ships with its own policy.

Punch List offers optional accounts, subscriptions, and web services, so it has its own more detailed policy at mypunchlistapp.com/privacy. For Punch List, that policy governs wherever the two differ.

The short version

Information stored on your device

Our apps are built to work locally. Shopping lists, grocery items, punch list photos and reports, relationship dates, browsing data, game progress, and anything else you create is stored on your device, or in your personal iCloud account where you have enabled iCloud features. This content is yours. It is not transmitted to Rojao servers, and we have no way to read it.

Analytics and crash reporting

Our apps use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to tell us, in aggregate, how the apps are used and when they crash. This includes information like device model, operating system version, app version, country-level region, anonymized usage events (for example, "a report was exported"), and technical crash traces.

This data is not linked to your name or email address, because in most of our apps we never ask for either. We use it only to fix problems and improve the apps. Firebase is operated by Google LLC; you can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Purchases and subscriptions

All purchases in our apps are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Payment details such as your card number go to Apple or Google, never to us. We receive only an anonymized confirmation that a purchase happened so the app can unlock what you paid for. Refunds and billing questions are handled through your Apple or Google account.

Accounts

Most of our apps require no account of any kind. Punch List offers optional sign-in for team and subscription features; how that account data is handled is described in the Punch List privacy policy.

Advertising

We do not include third-party advertising SDKs in our apps, and we do not use or share your information for targeted advertising.

When we share information

We share data only with the service providers named in this policy (Apple, Google, and Google's Firebase) as needed to run the apps, and we may disclose information if the law genuinely requires it. We do not sell personal information, and we never have.

Data retention and deletion

Content on your device is deleted when you delete it or remove the app. Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase for a limited period and then deleted automatically. If you would like us to remove anything else, email us and we will do what we can, honestly and promptly.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Some of our apps carry higher age ratings on the App Store (for example, iKama is rated 17+). Age ratings are shown on each app's store listing.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, the UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to object to certain processing. Because almost all of your data never reaches us, deleting an app from your device removes almost everything. For anything that remains (such as asking us about analytics data), email support@rojao.com and we will help. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes will be noted in plain language, not buried.
